Pretty interesting movie. The screenplay was something I have been thinking of (of course there is no way to prove that I have been thinking of it ) for the past 4-5 years. To be precise, I have been thinking of a theme where the same incident is described from two opposite views – something like: A bad thing happens and then later the bad thing is viewed from the eye of the guy that did it and is perfectly justified. I guess you need a very strong screenplay to pull something like that off.Telling a story from different vantage points or in  a non-linear fashion is not a novel idea. Run Lola Run is a very good movie, where the same sequence is shown again and again and with different ending. Sliding Doors, and our own 12B are also like that. This theme was used even in Virumandi. And of course, Clint Eastwood went a few steps further and made two movies, Letters from Iwo Jima, and Flags of our fathers, each telling the story from the opposite vantage point. Although I haven’t seen them both, I guess they should always be seen as a pair, to understand the directors view.Another classic movie that utilized this non-linear screenplay to full effect is Momento, i.e. the original version of Gajini. If you think about it, the plot of Momento / Gajini is a very normal revenge story. But it is the flow of the movie that engages us the most, and makes it a very interesting movie.
